I was young and exploring everything. As a flight attendant with Flying Tiger Airlines, I flew to Vietnam. On layoffs, I spent time marching in anti-war protests.<\/p>\n<p>By 1970, I was married and studying at the Academy of Art. That is where I met my mentor Joan Brown. She introduced me to Bay Area Figurative Art.<\/p>\n<p>This series, California Dreaming expresses all those wonderful years of freedom, fantasy, and exploration. I was challenging everything.
